Erin Eriksson and Bryan Jones

Erin Eriksson and Bryan Jones were married Sept. 4 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla in a sunset ceremony presided over by family friend Rev. Ed Holt.

The bride is the daughter of Gayle and Erik Eriksson of Valencia. She is a graduate of William S. Hart High School and graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA with bachelor’s degrees in political science and geography/environmental studies.

She serves as executive director of The Vision of Children Foundation in San Diego.

The groom is the son of Jane Bryan-Jones and Dr. Hardy Jones of Los Altos. He attended Los Altos High School and graduated with honors from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is president of Pareto Corporation and the creator and publisher of SportSpectator guides.

The couple honeymooned in Kauai and reside in Del Mar with their cat, Kula. They have both been accepted at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where they will attend business school in the fall.

In Our Opinion

Editorial

We’ve recently covered the passing of two of this community’s most involved and committed volunteers, Lee Lynch and Billy Russell. They represented an era when people helped out, not so they could get their name on a building, but because it was simply the right thing to do.

There’s a new generation of volunteers hard at work right now in this community who are carrying on their legacy. The level of involvement in the recent Los Altos Relay For Life event bears this out.
