Katie Van Thillo and Travis Huff

Katie Van Thillo and Travis Huff have announced their engagement to be married July 30 at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua on Maui.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Barbara and Guido Van Thillo of Los Altos. She graduated from Los Altos High School, received a bachelor’s degree in human development from UC San Diego. She is a teacher in the San Francisco Unified School District.

The groom-to-be is the son of Jeannine Colegrove of Milford, Mich., and William Huff of West Palm Beach, Fla. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Michigan State University. He is a portfolio manager for an investment fund.

The couple plan to live in San Francisco.
