Gerald and Eleanor Jensen

Eleanor and Gerald Jensen recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

They met at Curtiss-Wright Corporation in New Jersey in 1954 and married Jan. 28, 1956. They moved to Los Altos in 1967.

The couple raised five children: Gregory Jensen of Los Altos, Cheryl Jensen of San Jose, Douglas Jensen of Modesto, Jennifer Jensen of Sunnyvale and Tracy (Jensen) Hughes of San Jose. They have five grandchildren.

Family and friends hosted a surprise party at the Tarragon restaurant in Sunnyvale to celebrate the Jensen’s golden wedding anniversary.
