Garry Hill and Barbara Duncan

Barbara Duncan and Garry Hill have announced their engagement to be married Aug. 5. The wedding and reception celebration will take place on the Yacht Empress out of Sausalito.

The bride-to-be has lived in the Los Altos area for many years. She is a human resources executive and the winner of the YWCA’s 2005 Tribute to Women in Industry Award.

The groom-to-be is a longtime resident of Los Altos. He is an owner and editor of Track & Field News Magazine and a track and field announcer at numerous international track meets. The couple will honeymoon in Monaco, where they will attend the annual gala hosted by Prince Albert. They plan to continue to reside in Los Altos.
