Silicon Valley Prayer Breakfast, formerly called the Los Altos Community Prayer Breakfast, features speakers Kim Woody and John Sage at the 12th annual event, scheduled for 7-8:30 a.m., March 30 at Marriott Santa Clara.
This year’s theme, “Finding Purpose in Your Life,” features two speakers who will talk about how they found significance through faith and their work.
Woody is exeuctive director of Jeremiah’s Promise, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping foster girls who face homelessness and poverty when they turn 18. In her talk, Woody will describe how through prayer, God led her to leave the corporate world to help these struggling young women and how God is now working miracles in their lives.
Sage is president and CEO of Pura Vida Coffee, a for-profit company that donates its profits to charitable organizations worldwide. Sage will explain how God gave him a vision of how he could use his business skills to improve the lives of disadvantaged people.
The Silicon Valley Prayer Breakfast, founded by a group of Los Altos families, is an event organized by volunteers to provide inspiration on the power of prayer through personal Christian testimonies.
