Santa visits Rancho

Santa Claus is scheduled to make daily appearances at Rancho Shopping Center through Saturday.

Santa is set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. appearances at the shopping center, corner of Springer Road and Foothill Expressway, in Los Altos.

Hanukkah celebration

Chabad of Greater South Bay is sponsoring a Hanukkah celebration 5 p.m., Monday at the Los Altos Community Plaza, corner of State and Main streets. The program includes a giant Menorah lighting, music and dancing, latkes and hot cider, dreidels for the kids, and face painting. The program is co-sponsored by the Los Altos Village Association.
