Mark was not afraid of monsters, but his little brother Tom was. Mark had to check the closet every night, and Mark always said, “No monsters.” But that all changed when Mark met the monsters in the closet.
One day Tom had to go to Mr. Kong’s Pizza Palace. So Mark stayed. At first Mark heard a Grrrr! Then a Rrrr! So he ran to get closer. He looked until he knew the sound was coming from the closet.
The door made a skeakkkk! as it opened. At first he thought it was his dog Munch, but then he looked hard. Suddenly he saw a three-eyed Godzilla the size of - wait a minute - isn’t that his toy? Well, he looked harder and he saw a moving box, but isn’t that Munch under a box? Well, he looked even harder and he saw a real live shoebox!
Well, he looked as hard as he possibly could and he saw a door. He slowly opened it and sqeeakkkk! “Hi, I’m a Monster!” said a voice inside the door. “Ahhhhh!” shouted Mark. Then he fainted. So now Mark tells his story to all. So should you. The End.
