Hit and run

Sept. 29, 7:35 a.m., Magdalena Avenue at Interstate 280 off-ramp.

On Magdalena, woman driver abruptly turned left from right lane into car occupying left lane, causing more than $3,000 damage to side of car. The hit-and-run car is a dark-green Toyota Auburn, with damage and a missing headlight on the left side, left on the road. According to Miguel Martin de Bustamante, his daughter and son were driving from their home to class at St. Francis High School when they were hit. The California Highway Patrol responded to the accident. Anyone with information about this accident, call Bustamante at 948-2398.

Petty Theft

Oct. 1, 8:44 p.m., 2310 Homestead Road: Suspects fled Rite Aid after stealing alcohol.
