The latest “Paint the Town” calendar, featuring Los Altos landmarks of the past, is currently on sale through local non-profit groups. This is the second year the Los Altos Cultural Association has produced the full-color calendar.

Last April, more than 25 artists gathered in downtown Los Altos to “Paint the Town History” with renderings of landmark buildings in the Los Altos area.

Fifteen of these works are appearing in the just-released “Historic Los Altos Community Calendar” for 2006.

The calendar, created through the Los Altos Cultural Association, is for sale through local non-profit groups, whose members will use the proceeds to benefit their organizations.

The cultural association underwrites the cost of printing and donates the calendars to non-profits for resale.
