The 34th Annual Mountain View Art and Wine Festival is scheduled 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 10 and 11 on Castro Street.
The downtown event will feature handcrafted work by 650 artists, two days of music, food from around the globe, a pinot noir tasting booth and a “Cervesa California” brew crafted for the festival by Tied House brewery.
Exhibitors will feature original work in ceramics, glass, fine art, jewelry, leather, textiles and wood.
Bands will entertain crowds, performing a variety of music from rhythm and blues and swing to rock ‘n’ roll, jazz and Celtic folk.
Festival performers will include The Cool Jerks, Funky Little Shack, The Fundamentals, Sage, Kaweh, Tuxedo Park, The Emerson Growiser Band, stickplayer Bob Culbertson, Dreamroad, Aryeh Frankfurter and Ancient Winds.
The action-packed kids’ park will feature magicians, jugglers, clowns, music and incredible bird tricks.
On the Microsoft Community Stage, activities will include hands-on art, a 24-foot climbing wall, face painting, bounce houses, create-your-own wax hands art, sand sculptures, a virtual reality motion theater, and Boomer’s Magic Circus.
