Three local students graduated from Woodside Priory School with special honors May 28.
Susan Lyon of Los Altos, who will enter Princeton University in the fall, received the Valedictorian Award, the Bank of America Award for Foreign Languages and the Foreign Languages Department Award.
Daniel Wenger of Los Altos Hills, who will enter Harvard University in the fall, also received the Valedictorian Award. In addition, he won the Bank of America Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Liberal Arts, the A. Vernon Sohlberg Award of the English Department and the Music Department Award.
Kieran Howard of Los Altos Hills, who will enter UC Berkeley in the fall, won the Headmaster’s Award.
Michael Chiang, son of Thomas and Linda Chiang of Los Altos Hills, graduated May 22 with a degree in political science from Amherst College in Amherst, Mass. He is an alumnus of Los Altos High School.
Becky Morgan, a Los Altos High School student and a resident of Mountain View, will attend the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine June 26 through July 5 in Los Angeles.
