Services offered at the Los Altos Senior Center include:

• Counsel on Aging, HICAP: Insurance counseling the third Tuesday of every month with Roy Ito. Make appointments through the Senior Center.

• In-Home Repair Service: For minor home repairs. Reserved for Los Altos and Los Altos Hills residents only at no charge. Donations accepted.

New monthly schedule:

• Blood pressure check, second and fourth Fridays each month, 9:30-11:30 a.m., with Ginny Knell and Mary Seidman, volunteer nurses.

• Hearing screening, second Wednesday of every month, 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Set appointments through the Senior Center.

• Medical loan closet: Wheelchairs, walkers, shower and commode items, canes offered at no charge. A $50 deposit for wheelchairs only.

• Foot Doctor: Third Monday of the month, 9 a.m. Cost per visit is $30 per half-hour. Call the center for appointments.

Birthday Bingo is scheduled 1 p.m., on the third Friday of each month.
