Semona Ho and Forrest Christien Lundgren

Semona Ho and Forrest Christien Lundgren have announced their engagement to be married this spring.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tse Yuen Fang, of Shenzhen, China. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management from the Overseas Chinese University in China. She owns and is managing director for Smartain Holding Company, three trading companies located in Mexico, Hong Kong and China. She is also involved in international ballroom dancing competitions.

The groom is the son of Stacey Chaney and stepson of Chris Chaney of Los Altos. He is a graduate of Gunn High School and received a bachelor’s degree in physics from UC San Diego. He is employed at Di Zinno Thompson Advertising and Managing Apple Information Services for San Diego clients through his own consulting company, ForresTech.

The couple currently spend their time between San Diego, Hong Kong and Mexico City.

Karen Hoffman and Travis Bowie

Karen Hoffman and Travis Bowie have announced their engagement to be married July 30 in Carmel Valley. A reception will follow at Quail Lodge.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Nancy and Jim Hoffman of Los Altos Hills. She graduated from St. Francis High School and received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Stanford University. She is employed at Intel Corporation.

The groom-to-be is the son of Bob and Jean Bowie of Dallas. He graduated from Saint Mark’s School of Texas and received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University. He is employed at Yahoo.

The couple plans to live in Palo Alto.
