Healthful eating requires lots of greens. There will be plenty of veggies on hand for a Sunday “Green Cuisine” class at Hidden Villa environmental education center.

Hidden Villa Farm and Wilderness Preserve in Los Altos Hills has scheduled a cooking class 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Sunday.

The “Green Cuisine” class promises to be a unique experience in sustainable cooking. Participants will explore the garden for fresh seasonal produce and work together in the kitchen classroom to cook and share a delicious and nutritious organic meal.

Cost is $15 plus a $10 materials fee and includes the meal, a reusable grocery bag and recipes.

The class will be taught by environmental cook and educator Elisabeth Luu and will take place in the Hidden Villa Hostel building.

Participants must be 12 or older. Hidden Villa is located at 26870 Moody Road, Los Altos Hills.

Founded by Frank and Josephine Duveneck, Hidden Villa is a working organic farm with miles of wilderness trails, creeks and hillsides.
