Mrs. Lohman

Longtime Los Altos area resident and community benefactor Betty Anne Lohman died in her home Feb. 23. She was 84.

Services are scheduled 1 p.m., today, at the Menlo Park Presbyterian Church, 950 Santa Cruz Ave.

Mrs. Lohman and her husband John Holt Lohman moved to their Los Altos Hills ranch in 1949.

They cultivated 20 acres of prunes and 40 acres of apricots. The ranch was sold to Foothill College for its campus in 1961, and the Lohmans moved to Pink Horse Ranch in Los Altos Hills.

Mrs. Lohman sponsored Shakespeare in the Park each summer for the Bus Barn Stage Company and made several contributions to El Camino Hospital in Mountain View.
