Kiachian, Leaver

Anna Kiachian and Andrew Charles Leaver were married at Villa Montalvo in Saratoga July 21.

The bride is the daughter of Marianne and Jerry Kiachian of Los Altos.

She is a graduate of St. Francis High School, University of San Diego and Emerson College, Boston, where she earned a master’s degree in fine arts.

She currently works at Oracle Corp. in Redwood Shores.

The groom is the son of Anne and Keith Leaver of Hitchin, England.

He is a graduate of Southhampton College and Oxford University, England, where he earned a doctorate.

He is currently employed at Altera Corp., in San Jose.

The couple will live in Los Altos.

When members of the Los Altos Village Association first created the summer movie nights, they anticipated an event that would attract more residents downtown as a way to promote business.

What they didn’t anticipate was an influx of middle schoolers, or that parents would use the weekly Friday night affair as an opportunity to drop off their children and have someone else (in this case, the Village Association) effectively watch over them.
