GRAHAM, Chella Margaret,
Born in Illinois, she also lived in Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, New Jersey, Long Island, New York and for the last 48 years, in Los Altos, CA. She was a member of the Los Altos Methodist Church. She earned degrees in Education from Bowling Green State Univ., Ohio and in Electrical Engineering from Purdue Univ., Indiana. Over the course of her life, she was a school teacher, a Navy Wave, an Electrical Engineer, a full time mother and a postal clerk. Conversations with post office customers were a joy for her. She also enjoyed her many friends, travel, crossword puzzles, mathematics and other activities that challenged her mind.
She had great respect for her ancestors and an interest in family history. She cherished her family and created a wonderful home life. Her friendly and easy going ways made her home a favorite gathering place for the neighborhood children who could enjoy the pool, toys, a long driveway to ride on, games, Kool-Aid and homemade cookies.
Private interment services were at Alta Mesa Memorial Park, Palo Alto. In lieu of flowers, contributions are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. Arrangements by the Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary, Mtn. View, CA.
BOGUSKI, Patricia A.,
Born on July 26, 1935 in Philadelphia, she was the eldest child of Edward and Agnes Burke. She graduated from Chestnut Hill College in Pennsylvania with a degree in English. She met her husband Robert on a blind date in high school and they were married on April 27, 1957. Together they raised three sons.
Patricia only had seven credits remaining towards a second degree in Journalism when she left San Jose State in 1976 to join her husband in running Apogee Engineering for 21 years as Chief Financial Officer. She was a member of The Sea Ranch Board of Directors in the early 1980’s and was a member of the Los Altos Golf and Country Club for 16 years.
Her husband Robert survives her, as well as her sons, Robert Jr., Mark and Peter, daughter-in-law Regina, granddaughters, Madissen and Remy, and siblings Edward Burke, Jr., Virginia Phelan, Richard Burke, Constance Burke, Mary Burke and Jon Burkew. Her brother Michael Burke predeceased her.
A memorial service will be held at Mary Star of the Sea Church in Gualala, CA at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 21. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia’s memory may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association.

KRETCHMAR, Elizabeth W. “Libby”,
Always gracious, Libby was a loyal and compassionate friend to many. She believed that all creatures should be treated with kindness, respect and gentleness. Harmony and beauty were important to Libby and her home was her serene sanctuary. Courageous and steady in challenging times, she was a source of inspiration and strength to her family.
We are grateful that she is reunited in death with her brother, Sheldon C “Woody” Woodward and her mother and father. She will be terribly missed and in our hearts forever.
Survivors include daughters, Vicki Wills, Laurie Rydell, Amy Vanderstoel and Molly Kretchmar-Hendricks, sons-in-law Jim Willis, Jan Vanderstoel and Brett Hendricks and four grandchildren.
