NELSON, Walace Ragnar,

HARVEY, William Miles,

Father of Barbara Shaffer and husband John of Linwood, New Jersey, Mary Sue Mitke and husband Charles Mountaintop of PA and the late Scott Harvey. Brother of Mary Harvey Kunkle of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and the late Sarah Blum. Grandfather of 7. Great grandfather of 8.

Memorial service presented by Union Presbyterian Church and Masons of Los Altos. Memorials preferred to Union Presbyterian Church, 858 University Ave., Los Altos, CA 94024, Masonic Charities, Los Altos, Eastern Star, Valley Star Chapter in Los Altos. Arrangements under the direction of Spangler Mortuaries.

PODICH, Nicholas Martin,

A native of Freedom, CA, age 88 years, and a veteran of the United States Army WWII. Nicholas was a life long artist, working in many media, especially portrait and wood and stone sculpture. He was an active member of Sierra Club of Mtn. View and St. Simon’s Church; a past member of the San Francisco Artist and Art Director’s Club.

A funeral mass was held Thursday, March 20, 2003 at St. Simon’s Church. Private entombment will be held at the Valley Catholic Cemetery, Watsonville, CA.

Contributions in his memory may be made to your favorite charity or St. Simon’s Church, 1800 Grant Rd., Los Altos, CA 94024, or to the Pathways Hospice Foundation, 21 San Antonio Circle, Suite 104, Mtn. View, CA 94040.

MOLLER, William Walter,

Graduated from University of Southern California with B. S. degree. Mr. Moller further studied at University of Santa Clara. Member of Los Altos Methodist Church, served as Treasurer, long time Sunday Usher, and Boy Scout leader for 5-years of Troop 33. Mr.

Moller was a 32nd degree F & A Mason of Los Altos Lodge 712, San Jose Scottish Rite, and Knights of St. Andrew. Retiring after 32 years of continuous employment at Lockheed-Martin Missiles and Space Vehicles, he enjoyed stone and woodcarving classes at Mt. View Adult Education and Menlo Little House, also Foothills Stamp Club and the P.O.W. meetings in the San Jose U.S. Veterans building. All these friendships were dear to his heart. As a 17 year brave cancer survivor, he was a help and inspiration to many.

A memorial service and reception were held February 27, 2003, at the Los Altos United Methodist Church with a host of relatives and friends in attendance. He will be dearly missed. Memorials in his name may be made to the Chaplains, Hospice Care Unit of the U.S. Veteran’s Hospital, Palo Alto, CA.

TUBAN, GREG,

He earned his pilot’s license and loved to fly. He was also an accomplished sailor, and he and his wife frequently sailed in the San Francisco Bay. He was a community minded man and is well known for pioneering the El Camino Road Runner Service to transport patients to and from various appointments. The Road Runner Service in still in operation today.

Greg was the dearly loved husband of Faith Tuban, and loving father of Kristin Kitchura and Danielle Sigrist (resident of Los Altos). He was the beloved grandfather of Christopher Kitchura and Benjamin, Jacob and Gabrielle Sigrist. He was the treasured Father-in-law of Joseph Kitchura and Joseph A. Sigrist. Greg was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Tuban, and parents, Frances and Mark Tuban.

All friends are invited to a memorial service at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church (9850 Monroe Avenue, Aptos, CA 95003) on Saturday, March 29 at 1:30 PM. The family prefers that contributions be made in Greg’s memory to St. Andrew Presbyterian Church.
