PHILLIPS, Louise,
Born and raised in Chicago, Louise spent her life entertaining people from the piano. She and her late husband, Gladstone Phillips, loved to travel and experience new people and cultures.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie and son-in-law, Jack Welch, of Greeley Hill, CA; her grandsons Peter Welch of La Honda and Emmett Welch in attendance at Chico State University.
A memorial service was held on February 27 at the Los Altos Union Presbyterian Church. Arrangements under the directions of the Los Altos Chapel of Spangler Mortuaries.
OESER, Mary Catherine (O’Herron),
Mary was born February 8, 1916 in Carroll, Iowa and graduated from Carroll High School in May 1934. She married Harold J. Oeser in Carroll, Iowa on September 18, 1939. Mary and Harold moved to Palo Alto in July 1950. She was an Executive Secretary for Stanford Research Institute, now known as SRI International from September 1950 to retirement in June 1981. Mary was a resident of Los Altos since May 1963.
A memorial was held on March 3, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Arrangements under the direction of the Los Altos Chapel of Spangler Mortuaries, 399 So. San Antonio Road, Los Altos.
