By a long time resident of Los Altos, died of cancer on November 25, 2002, at her home in Sonora, California. She was 77. She lived in Los Altos with her family since 1949, then moved to the Foothills to be close to her children in 1999.
She worked for Varian, Benson and Acuson until retirement. She was a longtime volunteer at El Camino Hospital and Mountain View Senior Center.
Sonia loved her volunteer work, which she continued in her new home. She enjoyed needlepoint, reading, gardening and collecting curios.
She is survived by four children: Jerry Bergevin, Don Bergevin of Moccasin, California, Ford Bergevin of Oakley California, and Susan Bergevin Jackson of Lake Don Predo, California; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A private burial is planned in the Bay Area at a later date.

MORRIS, Marjorie Flagg,
She was a 1st Lieutenant in the US Army as a Recruiter and was a self employed real estate broker for over 20 years. Marjorie loved bridge and belonged to several clubs throughout her life. She enjoyed painting (watercolors) and had a knack for interior decorating.
She is survived by daughters, Katie McConnel of Livermore, Tobi McCarthy of Arizona; sons, Allan Hayes of Palo Alto, John Hayes of Antioch; a sister Eleanor Sporre of Pennsylvania and eleven grandchildren.
Memorial service was held at the Chapel Of The Chimes, Hayward, California.
Arrangements handled by Callaghan Mortuary.
Instead of flowers Marjorie requested that donations be given to Kaleidoscope Foundation, 7425 Larkdale Ave, Dublin, California 94568.
ANDEREGGEN, Henry,
Henry was a longtime employee of Varian in equipment maintenance. He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, LaRaine Andereggen. He is survived by daughters Dodie Schadeck of San Jose, Linda Andereggen of Pleasant Hill and Cathey Cort of Placerville; grandchildren Susan Chase, Sandy Graul, Karen Gartner, and Michael Pointer; great grandchildren Joshua Chase and Alexander Gartner.
Services will take place on December 28, 2002 at 10:30 am at Grace Lutheran Church, 3149 Waverley Street, Palo Alto.

Services were held on December 20, 2002 in the Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Los Altos. Arrangements under the direction of the Los Altos Chapel of Spangler Mortuaries, 399 So. San Antonio Road, Los Altos.
