By BLACH, Georgina, of Mountain View, died in Mountain View, on October 6, 2002. She was 82. Sister of Richard H. Blach of Menlo Park, James Blach of Mountain View, Robert Blach of Los Molinos, Elizabeth Henriques of Salinas, Joan Blach of Monterey, Mary Marquess of Sacramento and Alan Blach of Elko, Nevada and the late John, Michael, Donald and sister, Patricia. Also survived 52 nieces and nephews and 58 great nieces and nephews. A native of San Francisco, California. After graduating from college, Georgina spent ten years in Panama as a Pioneer Lay Missionary. Subsequently she was an active member of St. William Parish in Los Altos having worked part time in the rectory. She was also a member of the Serra Club and participated in the activities of the Oakwood Sacred Heart Order of Sisters. She taught at Blach Junior High School for 47 years.
Mass was held at Saint William Catholic Church on October 10, 2002. Arrangements were under the direction of The Los Altos Chapel of Spangler Mortuaries.
BARTLETT, Genevieve M., of North Falmouth, passed away in the JML Care Center on Wednesday, October 9, 2002. She was 82.
Genevieve is survived by her husband, John M. Bartlett, Jr. in their 60th year of marriage. She was the daughter of the late William H. Mitchell & Genevieve H. Mitchell of Worcester,Massachusetts.
Genevieve Bartlett was first born Irish, graduated from South High School in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she was an Honor Student and a lettered athlete in basketball, tennis and field hockey. In field hockey, she was named All City. She also graduated from Fairchild Office School in Worcester and was a teller in the Worcester Five Cents Savings Bank of America in Berkeley, California.
She and her husband lived in 13 cities and towns, East Coast, West Coast and Midwest.
While in West Boylston, Massachusetts, Genevieve was active in Club Scouts, Girl Scouts and teaching Sunday School. In Michigan, and Ohio, she was a tournament doubles tennis player and a member of traveling teams. In Falmouth, she played informally at the Sports Center and Wild Harbor Estates.
She was a baker of bread, rolls, muffins and pies.
During the building of four homes, Genevieve worked directly with the architects and designers incorporating her ideas and was directly involved with the builders, the trades and the interior designers. She also excelled in the needlecraft arts.
She was a member of the Precinct Five Association in Flamouth, and was active in town referenda including the Falmouth Charter.
Besides her husband, Genevieve is survived by two sons; James D. Bartlett of Sterling, Massachusetts and Joel F. Bartlett of Los Altos, California; one daughter, Lisa Bartlett of Ann Arbor, Michigan; two grandchildren of Holden and Sterling, Massachusetts; a brother, Paul M. Mitchell of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; also three nieces and four nephews.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held at the VA National Cemetery, Bourne, Massachusetts at a date to be announced.

INGERSOLL, Neil N., passed away at the Palo Alto V.A. Hospice on October 8, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Jean; sons, Thomas, Robert, Ted; daughter-in-law, Rima and three grandchildren; Tyler Carly and Shanon. He taught in the Palo Alto Secondary schools prior to retirement.
A memorial service will be held in his home state of Michigan.
KELLOGG, Harvey, of Los Altos, at rest in Manteca, California, October 2, 2002, at age 79. He was the husband of Jean Kellogg of Los Altos, Father of Suzanne Kellogg of Hollister. Brother of Richard Kellogg of Palo Verdes. A native of California and resident of Santa Clara County for more than 50 years. An engineer at Hewlett Packard. A member of F and AM. Friends are invited to attend services Wednesday, October 16, 2002, at 1:30 PM at the Los Altos Chapel of Spangler Mortuaries, 399 South San Antonio Road, Los Altos. Interment will follow at Alta Mesa Memorial Park, Palo Alto.
