Several local residents are expected to show off their vintage cars at this weekend’s Los Altos Fall Festival.

The Classic Car Show will be part of the 11th annual festival, scheduled 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, in the South Plaza parking lot between First and Third streets in downtown Los Altos.

Most of the cars on display will predate 1970. There also will be an exhibition of pre-1976 cars that are for sale.

Automobiles scheduled to appear at the show include a 1904 Franklin Runabout owned by Los Altos residents Chet and Marlene Zimmerman, a 1915 Ford Touring Car and a 1928 Whippet. There also will be British cars, such as Jaguars, MG-TDs and MGAs. In addition, classic Thunderbirds and Buicks will be exhibited.

The car show, offering more than 50 vehicles on display each day, will be located in South Plaza between First and Second streets,

Admission and parking are free.
