Foothills Congregational Church, 461 Orange Avenue, Los Altos, and the League of Women Voters are co-sponsoring a special 9/11 program from 7-9 p.m., Monday in the Parish Hall.

The evening will begin with an ice cream social to be followed with a talk by Rosemary Stasek, Mountain View City Council member.

As a follow up to her visit to Afghanistan last May and as a member of a reconstruction delegation of Afghan-Americans, Stasek will share her insights on the current political and social issues facing Afghanistan, including a historical review and personal experiences of life in Post-Taliban Afghanistan.
