Simeon Neff and Jos Bols were married July 13 at Chaminade in Santa Cruz. A reception and dinner followed at Chaminade. Eleven friends and family came from Holland to attend the festivities.
The bride is the daughter of Howard and Sheri Neff of Palo Alto. She attended Gunn High School in Palo Alto and received a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. She is employed at Enterprise.
The groom is the son of Willy and Jan Bols of Ter Apel, The Netherlands. He earned a bachelor’s degree in facilities management from Groningen University, The Netherlands. He also has a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff. He is employed at Bon Appetit Management Company.
Following their honeymoon in Costa Rico, the couple will live in San Mateo.
Hicks, Castillo
Jessica Hicks and Tom Castillo were married Feb. 2 at St. William’s Church in Los Altos. A dinner dance reception followed at La Rinconada Country Club in Los Gatos.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Sharon Hicks of Los Altos.
She graduated from St. Francis High School and has a bachelor’s degree from California State University, San Diego. She is employed at Callisma in Santa Clara.
The groom is the son of Isabel Hunt of Santa Maria. He graduated from Santa Maria High School and has a bachelor’s degree from California State University, San Diego. He is employed at Veritas in Mountain View.
The couple live in Mountain View.
Schmickrath, Khedim
Jaime Kathleen Schmickrath and Sidali Khedim were married July 6.
The marriage ceremony and reception were held in Los Altos Hills at the home of Donald and Melody Schmickrath.
The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in genetics from the University of California, Davis. She is employed at the Golden 1 Credit Union in Sacramento.
The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing and international business from Sacramento State University. He is employed at Oracle in Rocklin.
The couple plan to live in Rancho Cordova until they go on to graduate school.
