Starting Thursday, the Smart Life Forum will move their monthly meetings from Palo Alto to Los Altos.

SLF is a community of people who seek to stay informed about breakthroughs in the new science of optimal wellness and longevity. They try to understand and put to use the explosion of new information and ideas in biochemistry, physiology and medicine.

Meetings start at 7 p.m. The first hour is an open one, with people exchanging ideas and asking questions. After that is a speaker, followed by a lively discussion. Members come from around the Bay Area to attend.

On Aug. 8 the speaker will be Dr. Richard Kunin of San Francisco. He is a physician, psychiatrist, pioneer in the field of nutri-molecular medicine and author of the best-selling book “MegaNutrition.”

The meeting will be held in the Parish Hall of Foothills Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, located at 461 Orange Ave. For directions, call the church office at 948-8430.
