“The Festival of Hope Community Showcase of Talent,” a benefit program to assist in the rebuilding of the Antiochian Orthodox Church of the Redeemer, whose sanctuary was destroyed by an arson fire in early April, is scheduled 2-4 p.m., Sunday.

The event will be held at Los Altos Methodist Church, Magdalena Avenue at Foothill Expressway, in Los Altos.

It will feature performances by community choruses as well as choirs and individuals representing local congregations of all faiths. Featured performers include the Los Altos United Methodist Church Morning Glory and Chancel Choirs; the Muslim Community Association; the Orthodox Church of the Redeemer Choir; the Redwood City Children’s Choir; Schola Cantorum of Mountain View-Los Altos; St. Nicholas Catholic Church of Los Altos Hills; Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church’s “Intersections Music Team”; and Temple Beth Am of Los Altos Hills.

A reception will follow the concert.

The event is free and open to the public. All who attend are encouraged to make a donation to the Antiochian Orthodox Church of the Redeemer. All proceeds from the event will go to the church.
