Several local churches have joined together to showcase their musical talents to raise money for rebuilding the Antiochian Orthodox Church of the Redeemer in Los Altos Hills.
The church was destroyed in the three-alarm fire that an arsonist set nearly three months ago.
Community choruses as well as choirs and individuals from many local congregations of all faiths are scheduled to perform at “A Community Showcase of Talent,” 2-4 p.m., July 14, at Los Altos United Methodist Church, at the corner of Magdalena Avenue and Foothill Expressway in Los Altos.
The event will feature Schola Cantorum, the Morning Glory and Chancel choirs of the Los Altos Methodist Church, the choir of the Antiochian Orthodox Church of the Redeemer, Intersections Music Team of the Presbyterian Church of Sunnyvale, the Muslim Community Association, St. Nicholas Catholic Church and Temple Beth Am.
There will be a reception following the concert.
The event is free and open to the public.
All who attend are encouraged to make a donation to the Antiochian Orthodox Church of the Redeemer. The program is sponsored by Los Altos United Methodist Church.
