By Father's Day concert at Hidden Villa
Celebrate Father’s Day, June 16, with the family at a special concert for all ages at Hidden Villa, 26870 Moody Road, Los Altos Hills.
The Slugs spin environmental messages into upbeat, toe-tapping, foot-stomping favorites. Blending music, theater, puppetry and audience participation, the group promises a lively, entertaining show.
The concert will be from 6-8 p.m. on the outdoor stage at the Visitors Welcome Center at the entrance to the farm.
Cost is $15 adults, $12 seniors/students and $7.50 children 12 and under. Reservations are recommended.

Chefs Who Care’s ‘Picnic in the Park’
Chefs Who Care and Armadillo Willy’s will present “Picnic in the Park,” 5:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the Cuesta Park barbecue area, at Cuesta Drive near Grant Road, Mountain View.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Community Services Agency, which helps needy individuals and families.
The picnic buffet menu includes ribs, chicken, coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans, cornbread muffins and ice tea.
Prepaid admission before June 6 is $20 per adult, $10 for children 6-12.

Museum joins Los Altos celebration
The Los Altos History Museum will present an exhibit, “Los Altos: Celebrating 50 Years of Community,” Aug. 22 through January 2003.
As part of the city’s yearlong celebration of the 50th anniversary of its incorporation, the exhibit will commemorate significant accomplishments in each decade from the 1950s to the present.

Main Street Singers’ final concert
Mark Andrew Shaull, director of the Main Street Singers, will be presenting the group’s final concert of the year 8:30 p.m., Friday, at the new Eagle Theater on the Los Altos High School campus, 201 Almond Ave.
The singers will be presenting their repertoire from their tour to Australia and New Zealand.

Local Red Cross holds annual meeting
The Palo Alto Area Chapter of the American Red Cross will host its annual meeting 6 p.m., June 13, at the Mountain View City Hall Rotunda, 500 Castro Street in Mountain View.
The event, which will include hors doeuvres and refreshments, is open to the public.
