The Bank of Los Altos recently announced the appointment of Yvonne Frechette as vice president/ business banking officer.

She will be located in the bank’s Mountain View office.

Robert Holden, president and chief executive officer of the Bank of Los Altos, said Frechette has an extensive background in commercial lending, portfolio management and business and relationship development.

She recently served as vice president and manager at United California Bank in San Jose and was vice president and senior business financial sales manager at Citibank in Santa Clara.

“Yvonne’s primary focus will be on building and maintaining profitable business relationships and her outstanding reputation in this field will be an important asset to our organization,” Holden said.

We’ve recently covered the passing of two of this community’s most involved and committed volunteers, Lee Lynch and Billy Russell. They represented an era when people helped out, not so they could get their name on a building, but because it was simply the right thing to do.

There’s a new generation of volunteers hard at work right now in this community who are carrying on their legacy. The level of involvement in the recent Los Altos Relay For Life event bears this out.
