Stanford Hospital’s Partners in Caring program needs volunteers to provide friendly visits, transportation, shopping and meal assistance to people who are homebound. Training sessions for new volunteers are held once a month. For information, call 725-4137.
Healing imagery for cancer patients
Medical hypnotherapist Jeanne Fournier is set to teach healing meditation and deep relaxation techniques to cancer patients, 6-7:30 p.m., May 29, in the Oncology waiting room, Level A, of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, 795 El Camino Real.
