Town Crier Staff Report

With Corinne Allen leading the way, the St. Francis High gymnastics team won last Friday’s SCVAL South Division meet at Twisters.

Allen won the all-around title (37.20), as the Lancers beat runner-up Los Altos 177.80-173.35.

Courtney Sinclair of St. Francis finished second all-around (36.85), while Los Altos’ Emily Keenan placed third (36.50).

Second-seeded Soquel eliminated No. 10 St. Francis (23-10) in four games in Saturday’s CCS quarterfinals at Santa Clara.

In Thursday’s opening round, the Lancers upended No. 7 Valley Christian in straight-games behind Andrew Fuller’s 10 kills.
