Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra will perform its season finale concert at 8 p.m., Saturday, in the Spangenberg Theater at Gunn High School, 780 Arastradero Road, Palo Alto.

Cellist Matt Haimivitz will perform with the orchestra as guest soloist, playing Haydn’s Concerto for Cello in D major.

The Israeli-born cellist has performed with many American and international symphony and chamber orchestras, appearing with musicians and conductors such as Itzhak Perlman, Zubin Mehta, Daniel Barenboim, Sir Neville Marriner, Seiji Ozawa and Michael Tilson Thomas.

The program, to be led by guest conductor Peter Jaffe, will also include Grieg’s “Suite for Strings in Olden Style for Holberg’s Time” and Mozart’s Symphony No. 29 in A major (K. 201).

Tickets are $10 adults, $8 seniors and $5 students.
