By Travis Y.H. Adcock, son of Douglas A. and Dorothy S. Harrison of Los Altos Hills, has joined the United States Army under the Delayed Entry Program. The program gives young men and women an opportunity to delay entering active duty for up to one year.

Adcock, a 2001 graduate of Los Altos High School, will report for basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
