The Palo Alto Philharmonic, directed by Gideon Grau, will present a symphony concert at 8 p.m., Saturday, in the Spangenberg Auditorium at Gunn High School, 780 Arastradero Road, Palo Alto.
The program will include Cesar Franck’s Symphony in D minor and Variations and Fugue for Orchestra, a world premiere of a new work by assistant conductor Lee Actor.
In addition, award-winning violinist Bin Huang will perform the Beethoven Violin Concerto in D major.
Tickets, available at the door or at Peninsula Box Office in Palo Alto’s Town & Country Village, are $12 general and $10 students/seniors.
