By Chamber holds Business EXPO
The Los Altos Chamber of Commerce’s 14th annual Business EXPO will be held 4-7 p.m., April 25, at the Los Altos Youth Center, 1 N. San Antonio Road.
The event will feature businesses from all seven Los Altos shopping districts. Admission is $5.
Visitors to Business Expo 2002 can discover the offerings of the Los Altos business community and have an opportunity to win raffle prizes donated by local merchants. Individual businesses will also offer prize drawings at their displays.
Sponsors of EXPO 2002 are Bank of Los Altos, California Water Service, Los Altos Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation Center, Retirement Administration Inc., and Stanford Nissan.

Financial savvy for girls
The Los Altos-Mountain View Branch of the American Association of University Women has scheduled a series of three workshops, today, April 17 and 24 titled, “Financial Savvy for Women and Girls.”
Today, Sandra Wales, an investment advisor, presents, “Take Charge of Your Finances and Build Financial Security.” On April 17, estate planning attorney Joan LeBlanc talks on “New Estate Tax Rules.” On April 24, Wells Fargo representatives will discuss teaching money management in “Banking On Our Future.”
All workshops will be held 5:30-7 p.m. at the Hillview Community Center, 97 Hillview Ave., Los Altos. Registration is required. Cost is $5 per session and includes a light meal. For information and registration, call 941-8353.
