Applications for all 2002 Los Altos Hills Recreation Programs Summer Camps are available now at Town Hall. Final dates for camp programs are:
Ohlone Day Camp, July 8-12, July 15-19 and July 22-26, at Byrne Preserve. Fees are $130 residents, $145 nonresidents. Participants ages 6-12 learn about Ohlone Indians who lived in the area through arts and crafts, and storytelling.
Westwind Horse Camp, July 29-Aug. 2 and Aug. 5-9, at Westwind Barn. The program, for ages 7-12, is an introduction to horse care and riding geared for beginners. Fees are $150 residents, $165 nonresidents.
The program also offers camps for baseball, basketball, soccer and flag football.

Youth sailing camps at Shoreline
Shoreline Aquatic Center is holding summer youth sailing camps.
The camps meet for one week from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., teaching windsurfing in the morning and sailing after lunch.
Summer youth sailing camps are offered in beginner and advanced levels, and run from May 27 to Aug. 30.
The cost per student is $345, which includes equipment rental, instruction and certification.

Bay Area Shakespeare camps
San Francisco Festival’s Bay Area Shakespeare Camps have scheduled two sessions in Los Altos at Christ Episcopal Church, 1040 Border Road.
Each camp session is two weeks long. The first session is scheduled July 15 to July 26. The second session is scheduled for July 29 to Aug. 9.
The camps, designed for youths 8 to 18, are led by theater professionals. In addition to their stage credentials, they are trained teachers and camp counselors. To enroll in the Los Altos Bay Area Shakespeare Camp or for more information, call (415) 422-2222.
