Jennifer Sullivan and Adam Vaughan have announced their engagement to be married July 6 in Maui, Hawaii. The reception will be held at a private residence on Maui.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dianne Sullivan and the late G. Neil Sullivan of Newport Beach. She graduated from Marymount High School, Los Angeles, and from the University of California at Irvine. She is employed as a bankruptcy attorney in Newport Beach.

The groom-to-be is the son of Lloyd and Martha Vaughan of Los Altos. He graduated from Homestead High School and California State University at Chico. He is employed as a network consultant.

The couple plan to honeymoon in Bora Bora and to live in Corona Del Mar.

McLain, McLean

Meredith Lee McLain and Matthew Kyle McLean were married Aug. 4 at Queen of Snows Church, Squaw Valley. The reception was held at Sierra Vista Restaurant, Lake Tahoe.

The bride is the daughter of Georgie and Buzz (William) McLain of Los Altos. She is a graduate of Homestead High School and earned degrees in sociology and elementary education. She is employed as a seventh-grade teacher at Cupertino Junior High School.

The groom is the son of Marcia and Bill (William) McLean of Los Altos. He graduated from Homestead High School and earned a degree in sociology/history from California State University at Chico. He is employed at Biocompare, Redwood City.

The couple live in Redwood City.
