Four musical groups from the Peninsula will come together Saturday for “Star Spangled Bonanza,” a benefit concert for the victims and heroes of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

The concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Smithwick Theater at Foothill College, 12345 El Monte Ave., Los Altos Hills.

The Foothill Orchestra, Menlo Park Community Chorus, Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto Choir and Foothill College Choirs, led by Michael Gibson, will perform.

Menlo Park mayor Nicholas Jellins will be the guest speaker and the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard will also take the stage. The program includes “The Star Spangled Banner,” The Beatles’ “Yesterday” and Mozart’s “Piano Concerto No. 22 in E-flat Major, K.V. 482.”

Tickets are $10; parking is $2 in quarters.
