Kristen Lee Cushman and Kevin Hall were married Oct. 20 in Huntington Beach.

The bride is the daughter of Joe and Grace Cushman of Huntington Beach. She is a graduate of Albuquerque High School, Albuquerque, N.M., and Arizona State University. She is co-owner of Eva Creations, a pet furniture company.

The groom is the son of Larkin and Leslie Hall of Boise, Idaho, Sue Diederichsen of Palo Alto and Roy Diederichsen of Los Altos. He graduated from Los Altos High School and has a degree in theater from Beverly Hills Playhouse. He is an actor/writer for television and films.

The couple plan to live in Huntington Beach.

Conover, Hui

Rebecca Conover and Ernest Hui have announced their engagement to be married Aug. 17 at the Los Altos United Methodist Church. A reception is planned at the Los Altos Golf and Country Club.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Linda Conover of Los Altos Hills. She is a graduate of Mountain View High School and graduated in 1998 from the University of California Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and political science. She is currently working on her master’s degree at the Graduate School of International Management in Phoenix, Ariz.

The groom-to-be is the son of Dr. Ka-Kit and Mrs. Shirley Hui of Beverly Hills. He is a graduate of Venice High School, Venice, and graduated from the University of California Los Angeles in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He is employed as family business successions consultant at CFG Business Solutions, Phoenix.

The couple plan to live in the Bay Area.
