By Hit and run

Oct. 22, 6:32 p.m., Main Street: A caller reported a possible hit and run to a vehicle. The suspect placed a note, listing only a name, on the vehicle. Police were unable to find a listing of the suspect’s address and phone number.

Juvenile disturbance

Oct. 22, 6:39 p.m., Grant Road and Portland Avenue: A caller reported juveniles playing Frisbee in the street.

Child abuse

Oct. 23, 9:11 a.m., San Antonio Road: Police investigated a report of possible child abuse.

Grand theft

Oct. 23, 11:33 a.m., El Camino Real: Police investigated a report of grand theft.

Accident

Oct. 23, 2:30 p.m., Main Street: A truck accidentally knocked down a large tree. No personal injuries were reported.

Drunk driving

Oct. 24, 1:32 a.m., Truman and Oak avenues: Police stopped a subject suspected of driving while intoxicated.

Injury accident

Oct. 26, 10:26 a.m., Miramonte and Portland avenues: A collision between a vehicle and a bicyclist resulted in a major injury.

Suspicious package

Oct. 26, 2:20 p.m., Oakhurst and Portland avenues: A caller reported a suspicious box in the roadside. The responding officer determined the box contained a piece of AT&T cable and submitted a found property report.

Public works call

Oct. 28, 8:37 a.m., El Monte Avenue and Milverton Road: A caller reported a road sign facing the wrong way. Police notified the city’s municipal services.

Juvenile disturbance

Oct. 28, 3:27 p.m., State and Second streets: A caller reported juveniles lighting fireworks in the area.
