Coach kudos
A program that benefits schools and honors NFL coaches has kicked off its sixth season. The Staples Coach of the Week program awards 17 K-12 schools a $5,000 gift certificate and a visit from the head coach of their region’s NFL team. Each week during the season, a panel of NFL representatives will choose one coach whose leadership proves exemplary and merits the honor of “Staples Coach of the Week.” One random entry submitted on behalf of a school in the winning coach’s region will be drawn. The coach and the school will be announced the following Sunday during “The NFL Today” on CBS. For an entry or more information, logon to www.nfl.com/staples.
