By Friends hold used book sale

The Friends of the Los Altos Library will hold their fall used book sale Friday through Sunday at the Hillview Community Center, 97 Hillview Ave., Los Altos.

The Friday sale is open 7-9 p.m. for members only. Family memberships are available at the main library for $5. The sale is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sept. 8, and from noon to 3 p.m., Sept. 9. On Sunday, books are sold by the bag. Bags are available at the door for $3 each and there is no limit to the number of bags purchased.

Proceeds from the sale go to the library. Cash must be used for all purchases.
