The Los Altos Youth Theater’s production of “The Boyfriend” opens this weekend at the Bus Barn Theater, 97 Hillview Ave., Los Altos.
A musical comedy set in the 1920s, “The Boyfriend” plays 8 p.m., Friday through Sunday, then Aug. 24-26, 30-31 and Sept. 1. There also will be a 2 p.m. matinee Aug. 26.
The story revolves around young ladies from Madame Dubonnet’s Finishing School, outside of Nice, France, who search for and find romance.
The cast includes Lindsay Sutton, Rachel Bryant, Michelle Hjelm, Liana Madison and Alison Harrigan.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for seniors, students and children.
