The Palo Alto Oaks lost both ends of last Sunday’s doubleheader against the host Saratoga Sox.

The Oaks, a Stan Musial League baseball team with college players from the Los Altos area, fell 11-5 and 8-0 at West Valley College.

The defeats dropped Palo Alto’s record to 15-5, while Saratoga improved to 17-3.

In the first game, Palo Alto had 12 hits, including two each by Jerrel Taylor, Mike Knuckles and Luke Robinson. In Game 2, the Oaks were limited to four hits, half of which came from Nick Duran.

The Oaks host the Salaman Heat at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, in a doubleheader at Baylands Parks.
