Karin Emma Killermann and Jonathan Day Lucas announced their engagement to be married Aug. 11 at the Prado, Balboa Park, San Diego.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Janie Killermann of San Diego.
She graduated from Los Altos High School and Cal Poly with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry.
She is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of California, San Diego.
The groom-to-be is the son of Larry and Marilyn Lucas of Red Bluff.
He graduated from Red Bluff High School and San Diego State University with a degree in physics.
He is currently employed as an engineering assistant at Graviton.
The couple lives in San Diego.
Nicholas, Wheeler
Julie Marie Nicholas and Steven Michael Wheeler announced their engagement to be married June 29, 2002, at Lost Altos Lutheran Church.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Milton and Marilyn Nicholas of Los Altos. She graduated from Los Altos High School and Santa Clara University, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science. She graduated from the University of San Francisco with a master’s degree in human resources and organization development. She is employed at Fish and Richardson P.C., Menlo Park.
The groom-to-be is the son of Paul and Christine Wheeler of Gilroy. He graduated from Bellarmine College Preparatory and California State University, Chico, with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is currently attending Santa Clara University School of Law.
The couple plans to live in Redwood City.
Logan, Green
Monique Kathryn Logan and Joel Kenneth Green announced their engagement to be married Sept. 29 in La Jolla.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Harry and Margo Logan of Los Altos.
She graduated from the University of San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. She is employed as a graphic designer at Cardiff Software.
The groom-to-be is the son of Sally Anderson of San Diego and Gary and Carol Green of Colorado. He graduated from Mira Mesa High School and Washington-Jefferson University with degrees in business administration and psychology.
The couple plans to live in Carlsbad.
Neuberger, Giblin
Lois Neuberger and John Giblin were married July 21 at Our Lady of Fatima, New London, N.H. A reception followed at the Inn at Pleasant Lake in New London.
The bride attended high school in New York City. She is employed at Fairchild Camera and Instrument Company in New York.
The groom attended high school in the New York City area and graduated from Manhattan College in New York with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is retired after working 40 years with Fairchild Semiconductor Corp. The groom lived in Los Altos Hills for 16 years. The couple plans to live in Wilmot, N.H, and Cupertino.
