After attending the performance of “Showboat” at Foothill College last Saturday night, we are recommending it to all of our readers! Director Jay Manley has put together a memorable performance: incredible voices, professional costumes, imaginative sets, plus seamless choreograpy. Best of all is the familiar music that never gets old. Showtimes are 8 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays; 8 p.m., Thursdays, Aug. 2 and 9; and 2:30 p.m., Sundays through Aug. 12. Do not miss it. At $10 to $18 per ticket, it has to be the best entertainment value ever.
