Anh T. Nguyen and Stephen J. Seidler were married June 10.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Hien Nguyen of Milpitas.

She graduated from Milpitas High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics. She is employed as a high-tech recruiter in Cupertino.

The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Seidler of Los Altos.

He graduated from Los Altos High School, received a bachelor’s degree in Japanese studies and economics from the University of California at San Diego and a master’s degree in international finance from Obirin University, Tokyo Japan.

He is employed at eTesting Labs, a Ziff Davis Media company in Foster City.

The couple live in Sunnyvale.

Jensen, Marenghi

Emily Jane Jensen and Matthew William Marenghi have announced their engagement to be married in September at the Savannah-Chanelle Vineyards, Saratoga. A reception will follow the ceremony.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ruth and Steven Jensen of Los Altos. She is a graduate of Saint Francis High School and University of California, Santa Barbara. She is employed as regional sales manager at Research Magazine.

The groom-to-be is the son of Lillian and Americo Marenghi of Las Vegas, Nev. He graduated from Chaparral High School, Las Vegas, and Stanford University. He is employed at MetaTV, Sausalito, developing interactive TV applications. He previously pitched for four seasons for the Baltimore Orioles and Arizona Diamondbacks baseball organizations.

The couple are living in San Francisco.

Editorial

We’ve recently covered the passing of two of this community’s most involved and committed volunteers, Lee Lynch and Billy Russell. They represented an era when people helped out, not so they could get their name on a building, but because it was simply the right thing to do.

There’s a new generation of volunteers hard at work right now in this community who are carrying on their legacy. The level of involvement in the recent Los Altos Relay For Life event bears this out.
