Singers in the Los Altos United Methodist Chancel Tour Choir present their Bon Voyage Concert at 8 p.m., Friday, in the church sanctuary in Los Altos.
The church is located at the corner of the Foothill Expressway and Magdalena Avenue.
Nearly people associated with the choir will be departing for Switzerland and Northern Italy on June 17.
The 53-voice choir is led by Michael Morris and features Dr. Larry Crummer on organ.
Highlighting the tour will be the choirs participation in the International Church Choir Music Festival in Bern, Switzerland, which is directed by Sir David Willcocks and Paul Leddington Wright.
More than 550 singers from around the world are expected to participate in the festival.
The Los Altos United Methodist Chancel Tour Choir will be the only American choir requested to sing for “Songs of Praise,” to be broadcast and televised by the British Broadcasting Company.
Morris will be baritone soloist and Crummer will be accompanist for this performance, to be directed by Wright.
The choir will perform five additional concerts in Switzerland and Northern Italy.
