Amy Leigh Butler and Daniel Fischer have announced their engagement to be married Sept. 22 at Los Altos Lutheran Church, with a reception to follow at the Historical Ainsley House Gardens.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Solveig and David Butler of Los Altos. She is a graduate of Mountain View High School and recently graduated from college with a degree in interior design. She is employed as an interior designer for a homebuilder in Los Altos.
The groom-to-be is the son of Kathryn Fischer and Jerry Cameron of San Jose.
He graduated from Del Mar High School and recently received a degree in criminal justice from San Jose State University.
He is employed as project engineer at a commercial construction company in the South Bay.
The couple plans to live in Mountain View.
Albin, Bryson
Joelle Albin and Jim Bryson have announced their engagement to be married Aug. 25 at the Villages Golf and Country Club, San Jose.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Donna and Steve Albin of Los Altos. She is a graduate of Mountain View High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and a teaching credential from San Jose State University. She is employed at Slater Elementary School in the Mountain View School District.
The groom-to-be is the son of Dianne and Dale Schrumpf of Sunnyvale and Jim Bryson Sr. of San Jose. He is a graduate of Homestead High School and has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Cal Poly. He is a real-estate professional.
The couple plan to travel around the world for a year and then return to Los Altos.
