Suzanne Rose and David Bennett have announced their engagement to be married Oct. 20 at Foothills Congregational Church, Los Altos.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Julie Rose of Mountain View and Mike Rose of Portland, Ore. She graduated from Los Altos High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is employed as a conference coordinator at Stanford University.

The groom-to-be is the son of Judy and Warren Bennett of Palm Desert. He is a graduate of Torrance High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University. He is a meteorologist for Lockheed Martin in Sunnyvale and is working toward a master’s in meteorology at San Jose State University.

The couple plan to live in Palo Alto.

Eryn Schroeder and Michael Johnson have announced their engagement to be married Aug. 25. The wedding will be at Savanna-Chanelle Vineyards in Saratoga.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jan and Wes Schroeder of Los Altos. She is a graduate of Los Altos High School and has earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon. She is employed at the YMCA of the Mid-Peninsula as director of community support.

The groom’s parents are Pat and Rich Fausett of Los Altos and Steve and Eleonore Johnson of Portola Valley. He is a graduate of Los Altos High School, has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and graduated from Hastings Law School. He is employed as an attorney at Cooley Godward.

The couple live in Menlo Park.
